Lamb in spinach and tomato gravy with peas
also called Bhaji Dana Ma Gos -Spinach with Lamb or Mutton
Method
Fry onions in 2 dsp oil till light golden brown
Add ginger garlic paste and saute with dry spices and chilly.Add the tomato and cook for 2 minutes. Add 1 big bunch of fresh spinach leans or 250 grams of frozen chopped spinach, fenugreek leaves and chopped coriander leaves. Add lamb or mutton and saute for about 3 minutes. Add a little water, enough to cover the lamb.Cook slowly for 45 minutes till the lamb is tender. Add worcester sauce to taste. Add boiled green peas and cook for 3/4 minutes.
Serve with bread or chapatti

- 1/2 Kilo Lamb or Mutton
- 250 grams boiled Green Peas
- 1 large seeded and chopped tomato
- 1 big bunch of fresh spinach leaves or 25 grams of frozen spinach
- 1 big green chilli (optional)
- 1 handful dry fenugreek leaves
- 1 Bunch Coriander
- 2 chopped Onions
- 1-11/2 Tbsp ginger and garlic paste
- 1 Tbsp black pepper powder
- 1 Tbsp Garam Masala
- 1 1/2 Tsp Turmeric
- 1 1/2 Tsp Red chilli powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 dsp Wooster sauce
- Salt to taste
